For the Festival 2004 the Collective celebrates its 20th year. Ten years ago 27 artists who had previously exhibited over the gallery's first decade were invited to exhibit new work, The Birthday Party represents a small slice of the artists who have exhibited in the gallery since that exhibition 10 years ago.
This is not only a celebration but an opportunity to review the work of some of the artists we have exhibited. With over fifty artists in the exhibition contributing recent work this should offer a myriad of differing styles and practices including painting, sculpture, video, drawing, printmaking, performance and should provide an interesting counterpoint to the four OFF-SITE projects.
