Prior to Tessa Lynch's solo show at Collective in April 2010, Tessa is in residence at Edinburgh International Climbing Arena in Ratho for 2 months. Tessa is creating a performance for Collective at the EICA which involves members of the Collective audience with the project.
Tessa has arranged a series of 8 weekly workshops. The workshops are part climbing practice and part art workshop and will all take place at EICA.
The art part of the workshops will look specifically at:
• Introducing the idea of performance art
• Prop making
• Costume design
• Using the body to act out ideas
• Lighting a performance
• Music accompaniment
